Four RECOMMENDATION have to take into account in the time of Busbar Trunking (BBT) Design and Installation!!

Recommendation 1

For industrial installations, remember to take into account the upgrading of the machine equipment base. As for a switchboard, a 20 % margin is recommended. 

                                           I_n ≤ I_B x 1.2

For Example, at a brunch of a BBT, the load is 500 A. In that case, the BBT rating will be = 500 X 20% = 600 A.

Recommendation 2

A waterproof curb has to be recommended to install at each floor opening where busway passes.

For an indoor application, fire barrier is recommended between the floors.

For outdoor application, an integral weather seal like canopy is recommended.
