OSHA:

     OSHA stand for Occupational Safety and Health Administration, an agency of United States Department of Labor. The main concern of the organization of saving human lives and ensure safety. 

OSHA Code for Safety Measures in Electrical Installation:

According to OSHA 1910.303(h)(2)(i), 

Electrical installations in a vault, room, or closet or in an area surrounded by a wall, screen, or fence, access to which is controlled by lock and key or other approved means, are considered to be accessible to qualified persons only. The type of enclosure used in a given case shall be designed and constructed according to the hazards associated with the installation.



In short, the working place of electrical installation should be surrounded by protection tape and electrical danger signs. 



Protection Fence/Wall for Electrical Switch Yard: 

       Protection Fence is recommended in any Electrical Switch yard by experts the main reason is that, 

1. Protection fence is the best barricade for animal departure which reduces the risk of electrical shock and protects lives.

2. Decrease the entrance of unauthorized persons in the switch yard.

3. Used as a shield barrier in the time of electrical installation of new equipment, maintenance and service.
