What is the Difference between LBS and VCB?

LBS:

1. Load Break Switch is a simple isolating device and it is used to protect and control the circuit in normal load current and over load current condition. 

2. No arc quenching arrangement. 

3. Low Breaking Capacity. 

4. Fuse used as a protection unit.

VCB:

1. Vacuum Circuit Breaker is an indoor protection device used in distribution system and it is used to protect and control the circuit in normal load current, over load current and short circuit current condition.

2. Vacuum as medium of arc extinguishing.  

3. High Breaking Capacity. 

4. Relay and CT are used as protection unit.
