What is Electrical Supervisory License?

Basically, it is a license by which an engineer is authorized for supervising any low voltage to high voltage electrical projects installation and commissioning. This authorization has been given through a gazette by Bangladesh Electrical Licensing Board under the Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources. Day by day the valuation of this license increasing in especially private sector as well as government-related projects.

Eligibility

1. B. Sc. Engineering Degree
2. Job Experience (Details in the application form)

Circulation

In general, three (3) times exam will be held in a year. So, for the circulation, please browse here.

Application Procedure

1. Download the application form. Click here.
2. Fill up the application form as instructed.
3. For Category (A, B & C), deposit 3600 BDT to Bangladesh Bank or Sonali Bank through “Chalan”.
4. Collect the required documents like (Chalan Copy of deposited money, Experience Certificate, B. Sc. Certificate, Character certificate & 4 copy passport size picture)
5. All the documents should be attested by First class gazette officer.
6. Submit the application form along with the above documents to the below address: 

Electrical Licensing Board  24, Topkhana Road, Joshna Complex, 5th floor,  Purana Palton, Dhaka- 1000
7. Now, wait for the interview call.

Before going the application process, you have to know the category of this license. Basically, there are three categories are described in the below table.
